How pickup works
Pickup of your RV or motorhome is a straightforward process at AutoLift. Our team utilizes specialized RV-transport flatbeds for larger vehicles and drive-away options for smaller models. If your vehicle is stored at an RV park or storage facility, we’ll coordinate with them to ensure a smooth pickup. It’s important to note that most states require a maximum height clearance of 13'6”, so please provide the exact dimensions of your vehicle when scheduling a pickup.
What drives donation value
The value of your donated RV or motorhome is influenced by several key factors. The condition of house systems, such as the roof, slides, plumbing, and air conditioning, tends to drive value more than the drivetrain. Any signs of water damage can significantly decrease the worth of your vehicle. Recent maintenance records can bolster your donation's value and provide transparency to future recipients. Be mindful of seasonality as well, with spring auctions generally yielding the highest values for RV donations.
Documentation you need
- Vehicle title
- Bill of Sale (if applicable)
- Service records (if available)
- IRS Form 8283 Section B for appraisals on classic models
- Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (for off-road vehicles)
