How we started
AutoLift was born out of a deep understanding of our communities in New Mexico. In a state as diverse as ours, many residents are eligible for essential benefits but remain unenrolled. Our founders, inspired by stories of neighbors struggling to make ends meet, realized that one key to unlocking these benefits was creating a sustainable funding model. Thus, the concept of vehicle donation emerged, allowing generous individuals to turn their unused cars into vital resources for our community.
With each car that is donated, AutoLift is able to provide free access to a comprehensive benefits-research service. This service helps our neighbors navigate and enroll in programs like SNAP, Centennial Care, TANF, WIC, and LIHEAP. Through collaboration and community engagement, AutoLift bridges the gap between need and support, making a real difference in New Mexico's communities.
Our mission
At AutoLift, our mission is to connect New Mexicans with vital resources they need to thrive. We seek to empower our neighbors by ensuring they are aware of and enrolled in benefits programs such as SNAP, Centennial Care, TANF, WIC, and LIHEAP. Through our innovative vehicle-donation model, we are able to support a free benefits-research service that helps individuals and families navigate their options efficiently and compassionately. Our commitment is to provide access and assistance, fostering a community of care and support across New Mexico.

Why this city
New Mexico is a tapestry of cultures and communities, with neighborhoods like the South Valley, Centro, and the North Valley facing unique challenges. Many residents, including families and seniors, often miss out on vital programs due to enrollment gaps. With an estimated 30% of eligible households not participating in SNAP and others unaware of LIHEAP assistance, our mission is critical. We aim to address these disparities by providing easy pathways to benefits that enhance the lives of our neighbors, fostering a more equitable New Mexico.
If you have a vehicle that you no longer need, consider donating it to AutoLift. Your generosity will directly impact the lives of fellow New Mexicans by funding our benefits-research services. Alternatively, if you are seeking help with benefits enrollment, we encourage you to explore our free benefits finder, making sure every eligible neighbor knows about and accesses the support they need.
